Must have experience with global E&O, D&O, Crime, EPLI and Fiduciary Insurance and Captives.Ability to analyze relevant parts of service contracts and discuss insurance requirements and implications with legal team, clients, and business partners.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Must have professional understanding of real estate related operations (i.e., facilities management, construction, and property management) and related insurance and risk management practices.

Minimum of seven years of insurance industry experience, where contractual risk management has been a responsibility.

Bachelor's degree with a professional qualification in insurance or risk management is desired.

Present on the Risk Management function account teams as requested. Maintain frequent communications with various key stakeholders within the businesses to get an understanding of the business strategy in order to revise current insurance if needed. Work with other regional risk managers on corporate insurance issues Maintain and manage underwriting information Provide advice and guidance to businesses in relation to the procurement of insurance Maintain strategic relationships with key insurance partners and ensure the broking and underwriting services are delivered to expectations Review the adequacy of existing insurances against new or existing risks that the businesses are undertaking Mediation of insurance and risk provisions of client and vendors contracts Renewal of annual and ad-hoc insurance programs and assist with locally purchased insurance policies The position will support the global insurance and risk management needs of the businesses and the Global Risk Management Department! Role Responsibilities: This hybrid position is located in Chicago and requires both in-office and remote work and limited travel. The position reports to the Director, Global Risk Management.
